House with rope and ladder, located in a small village on the south east coast of Sweden, is a house in two parts: A traditional, brick volume with a gable roof, and an enclosed circular garden, attached at its tangent to the middle of the volume.
The walled-in garden creates a calm, private space while the surroundings are allowed to stay wild and green. The placement of the house and the plot, sloping towards the coast, allows for a glimpse of the sea over the brick wall.
